Cambodia is an amazing country, one that’s always been popular with backpackers (less so with regular tourists). It offers its visitors a rich history and an unvarnished travel experience. One where they can explore wondrous temples that are truly fit for the Gods, enjoy beautiful beaches, learn about its painful past and admire its people’s fortitude for overcoming it.

Phnom Penh, Siem Reap And More

Phnom Penh is an interesting city. It challenges you to look past its dark history and to see it for what it is today, a city reborn from the ashes of destruction. Even if you only have a day to explore, you’ll see that its present, past and future are very much intertwined.

Past the capital to the North lies Siem Reap. Most people know it as the gateway to the amazing Angkor Temples. Monuments that, in my mind, tower over all the World Wonders. With the influx of tourists doing their pilgrimage to these temples, Siem Reap has grown into a cool hip town; offering plenty of interesting markets and an impressive night life.
